Report a Policy Violation
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

Had to put our cat down a couple days after Christmas. Her name was Toots.
I never realized how fast the drugs worked. I asked to be present for the injection so she wouldn't be entirely alone on her way. It was the most emotional experience I've had since my dad's death 15 years ago. As I stroked her head the vet gave the injection in her front left leg which she didn't even flinch at. I started crying, much as I'm doing again now writing this, (Christ, I thought I was done!!) the vet pulled out the stethoscope, checked her heart rate and confirmed she was gone. Took no more than a few seconds. I am glad it went quick for her. She was such a good cat. I miss her greatly, and I don't know if I'll ever get over the guilt of not being able to do more for her. There weren't any options, but it still hurts... Goodbye Toots! |
